1. Localized Device Storage (Hive)

All application state, user preferences, and campus navigation configurations are stored exclusively on your physical device using the high-performance Hive local database.

This local store remains isolated inside your sandboxed application workspace. At no point is this local cache transmitted or duplicated to remote cloud instances for analysis or user profiling.

2. Anonymous Crowdsourced Wait Times

When you voluntarily verify or report outpatient wait times, this data is submitted completely anonymously. We do not link these submissions to your device identity, phone number, hardware ID, or IP address.

To maintain system legitimacy, submissions are signed and verified cryptographically using Firebase App Check. This client-side verification confirms that the request originates from a valid, unmodified instance of the OP Now application to prevent spam, while fully preserving your personal anonymity.

3. Zero Third-Party Tracker Disclosures

OP Now does not integrate any third-party marketing, analytics, or profiling trackers (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or Mixpanel). The network traffic from this app is dedicated purely to retrieving campus coordinates and crowdsourced queue logs.

We explicitly reject behavioral monetization structures. Your navigational patterns inside medical facilities are completely your own.

4. User Sovereign Deletion Rights

Since all data resides directly on your local storage, you maintain absolute control. You can instantly wipe your entire local logs, search histories, and cached preferences by navigating to the application system settings and clicking "Clear App Cache" or by uninstalling the application.

Because no records are stored on our servers, there are no remote servers from which to request data retrieval or erasure.

5. Website Waitlist Data

If you choose to register for the early access waitlist on our website, we collect only the basic contact details required to coordinate closed testing updates. This includes your name, email address, selected Kerala district, and optional mobile device model.

We do not collect Aadhaar numbers, medical diagnoses, health records, or reasons for visiting the hospital. All waitlist information is stored securely and separately from KFirst data systems.
